(But come Feb./Mar., I am ready for more sunshine!) Right now, however, I am happy to be able to hunker down in the evenings, light the candles, and stitch in my favorite chair. So cozy, warm and peaceful. We need these less frenetic days to regroup for the next spring/summer!
I was hoping to sleep in this morning with our extra hour, but was awoken by my daughter trying to figure out what time it was!!! Maybe a nice afternoon nap is in order.... Have a great Sunday!Pennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06289206422022694413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696073617776188348.post-8247603762544348882011-11-06T12:43:31.793-05:002011-11-06T12:43:31.793-05:00I must agree with you Jennie Lynn...I do love this...I must agree with you Jennie Lynn...I do love this time of year. Early evenings welcome dinners by candlelight, time spent between the pages of a favourite book, and a bit of needlework (of course.)

Wishing you lovely winter evenings...

Warmly,
JudyBeehive Needleworkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11332290270703036628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696073617776188348.post-81107612831512042982011-11-06T11:45:55.276-05:002011-11-06T11:45:55.276-05:00I think you are right. All seasons have a reason. ...I think you are right. All seasons have a reason. I love the change. Summer is for hanging outside in the evenings and winter is for inside snuggling and stitching. I live in southern Virginia and spring and fall don't happen too often. I am going to use my extra hour to stitch.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01258776155203746670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4696073617776188348.post-45758446194917876192011-11-06T11:28:42.138-05:002011-11-06T11:28:42.138-05:00Ah, but I do love the sweet sweet summer evenings ...Ah, but I do love the sweet sweet summer evenings here at the Stone house! I really struggle with winter, the lack of light, the cold bitter short days. But the time change gives me slower mornings, which I do enjoy.
Enjoy
MercyLewaina@cliffsideranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13148796038859516931noreply@blogger.com
